
Shraddha Joshi
Born in Mehkar, India, Shraddha is a ceramic artist exploring the intersection of geometry, nature and human existence. With 15 + years of expertise and a background in fine arts (B.F.A. Sir J J school of Mumbai) Gold Medal and (MA Cardiff School of art and design, UK) with British Council’s prestigious award Charles Wallace trust) her practice combines traditional techniques with innovative methods with unique concepts.
Rooted in sacred geometry and platonic solids, her art delves into harmony between pattern and form. Some of her recent installations Include “The Divine Plan” Indian Ceramics Triannale 2024 and “The Spiral of Life” Stoke On Trent. She employed traditional techniques with cutting edge technology blending light, sound and other media to create immersive sensory experiences.
As a skilled craftsman and a passionate educator, she has worked with various institutes and communities. Her Independent studio practice in UK allowed her to explore opportunities. Integrating art and science her artistic journey is driven by a passion for reinterpreting ancient wisdom in modern manner.
