Cheong See Min
Cheong See Min is a multidisciplinary artist based between Malaysia and Taiwan. Her practice explores the relationship between humans and nature through fibre, weaving, sculpture, and installation. Viewing weaving as a form of communication, she creates works that connect history, memory, and the present. Her recent research examines the colonial history of plantations in Malaysia, drawing from archival and personal narratives to reflect on labour, ecology, and the legacy of commercial crop production. Through material-based practices, See Min investigates how landscapes, histories, and human experiences remain intertwined across time.
