Likitha R Jain (b. 2001, Bengaluru, India) is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice explores the intersections of sculpture, assemblage, collage, and material experimentation. Working primarily with reclaimed and organic materials, including paper pulp and water hyacinth fibres, she investigates themes of material agency, memory, sustainability, and the shifting relationship between the natural and the constructed.

Rooted in ecological thinking and informed by posthumanist ideas, her work transforms discarded and invasive materials into sculptural forms that carry traces of movement, labour, and lived histories. Through intuitive processes of collecting, layering, and reconfiguring found objects and mass-media imagery, she creates installations that invite new ways of engaging with space, materiality, and perception.

Likitha completed her Master of Visual Arts from Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, graduating with First Rank. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts with a specialization in sculpture. Alongside her contemporary art practice, her background in textile and jewellery design continues to shape her sensitivity to texture, structure, and handcrafted processes.

Her work has been presented at the Kochi-Muziris Student Biennale (2025–26), Out of Syllabus at Frida Art House (2024), the International Women's Day Exhibition (2024), and the Catalysis Graduate Shows (2023, 2025). She is the recipient of the Inlaks Fine Arts Award (2026), the Kala Sakshi Scholarship (2025), and the Best Annual Display Award during both her Bachelor's and Master's studies. In 2026, she joined the Hampi Art Labs Residency, where she continues to expand her research through material exploration, collaborative practices, and site-responsive experimentation.
